His virtual \u201cWalk of the Immigrants\u201d presentation will be shared with the Detroit Mercy community on Thursday, Sept. 30 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In the presentation, Flores reflects on how he walked 5,328 miles through 10 countries and nine border crossings as a senior at North Carolina State University to document the difficult and dangerous journey for immigrants coming to the United States. Raising money for an elementary school in Atencingo, Mexico, Flores\u2019 ventured from Ecuador to Charlotte, N.C. in three months.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Flores is nationally recognized for his social impact projects.
