VIDEO: Hundreds return to campus for Homecoming<\/a><\/p>\n Whether it was enjoying a s\u2019more at the Titan Tailgate bonfire, taking the field for the alumni softball game, winning a carnival game at the Fall Festival or rooting on the Titans\u2019 men\u2019s soccer team, everyone had a memorable time at Detroit Mercy\u2019s 2021 Homecoming.<\/p>\n More than 1,600 alumni, students, faculty and staff, family and friends attended nearly two dozen events on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 1-2 to help celebrate Homecoming.<\/p>\n \u201cOnce again Homecoming left us feeling inspired and uplifted because of the energy and enthusiasm generated when we all come together and celebrate Detroit Mercy traditions,\u201d said Peggy Pattison, director of Alumni Relations at Detroit Mercy.<\/p>\n Those in attendance enjoyed a Titan Tailgate and bonfire as well as a drive-in movie Friday night ahead of Saturday\u2019s full day of activities.<\/p>\n The annual Tour de Titan bike ride helped kick off Saturday\u2019s festivities with participants cycling nearby neighborhoods as well as campus.<\/p>\n Alumni took part in a softball tournament from Detroit Mercy\u2019s Buysse Ballpark and the Fall Festival on Saturday featured food trucks, casino and lawn games, a rock wall and several other carnival games at the Kassab Mall.<\/p>\n Also outdoors was a taping of \u201cAsk the Professor,\u201d while indoors in the buildings on McNichols Campus were several reunions, including the College of Health Professions celebrating 80 years of Mercy.
