{"id":8417,"date":"2021-10-25T10:27:34","date_gmt":"2021-10-25T14:27:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.udmercy.edu\/campusconnection\/?p=8417"},"modified":"2021-10-25T17:15:03","modified_gmt":"2021-10-25T21:15:03","slug":"campus-wellness-hold-will-prevent-winter-and-summer-term-registration-for-students-who-do-not-upload-their-proof-of-vaccination-or-receive-an-authorized-exemption","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.udmercy.edu\/campusconnection\/2021\/10\/25\/campus-wellness-hold-will-prevent-winter-and-summer-term-registration-for-students-who-do-not-upload-their-proof-of-vaccination-or-receive-an-authorized-exemption\/","title":{"rendered":"Campus Wellness Hold may affect winter and summer term registration for students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We would like to thank all of you who have complied with the University\u2019s vaccination\/exemption requirement and safety protocols.<\/p>\n<p>As noted in President Garibaldi\u2019s Sept. 23 email, students who <i>do not upload<\/i>\u00a0their proof of vaccination or receive an authorized exemption will have a Campus Wellness Hold placed on their account that will prevent winter and summer term registration.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<b>Campus Wellness<\/b>\u00a0hold is solely related to the non-compliance of providing proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or not applying for and receiving an exemption.<\/p>\n<p>Please note:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Having a hold placed on your account will prevent registration for winter term 2022 or summer term 2022 classes.<\/li>\n<li>This will not affect your current fall term 2021 classes, residential housing, or access to campus at this time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To comply with the\u00a0University\u2019s vaccination\/exemption requirement and safety protocols and avoid the Campus Wellness Hold,\u00a0<b>one of the steps below must be taken:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Upload your proof of full vaccination here:\u00a0 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=2MKkyGi9ukC4tnUivppxceZGcwB3Ko9Ctor_3eu029lUQUhMNFVBSUM4N1BMUEVZQ1RHSDNSUU5QMy4u\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Proof of Full Vaccination Upload<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n(Please be sure to log in to your Office 365 and use your university email address when uploading.)<\/li>\n<li>Apply for an exemption here: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=2MKkyGi9ukC4tnUivppxccxvckY3PB5AmGPA4bK76DpUNVRWTzdZREdXUFNINEk2VUtNSEVaUVNYMiQlQCN0PWcu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Student Medical, Religious or Philosophical Exemption Request Form<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once one of the actions has been completed, a report will be sent the COVID Care Team that will verify either the vaccination or exemption.\u00a0 Once verified, the Campus Wellness Hold will be removed within 2 business days.<\/p>\n<p>Should you have questions about the Campus Wellness Hold, please reach out to the COVID CARE Hotline 313-993-3399 Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. \u2013 5 p.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We would like to thank all of you who have complied with the University\u2019s vaccination\/exemption requirement and safety protocols.
