The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/marijuana\/health-effects\/addiction.html\">CDC reports<\/a> about 30% of individuals who use marijuana are considered addicted.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Does smoking marijuana cause similar health effects to tobacco? <strong>More studies are needed, however it is known that smoking marijuana puts you at an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/marijuana\/health-effects\/lung-health.html\">increased risk for lung infections<\/a> (according to the CDC) and exposes you to harmful carcinogens.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Does marijuana use help with nausea and vomiting, or does it cause it? <strong>Trick question, both! Marijuana has been shown to help with the symptoms of nausea and vomiting, but chronic marijuana use can lead to <a href=\"https:\/\/my.clevelandclinic.org\/health\/diseases\/21665-cannabis-hyperemesis-syndrome\">Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome<\/a>.
