UDM Student Team Places Third in the 2025 NCAE Cyber Games Midwest Competition

From 11 am-7 pm on March 1st, 2025, twelve UDM students worked to score points in the NCAE Cyber Games competition. These students were organized into two Blue Teams (Cybersecurity Defenders) and given a compromised network to prepare defenses for while simultaneously being attacked by the NCAE’s Red Team of seasoned hackers. Throughout the 7-hour period, these two teams experienced compromised services, broken configurations, and much more whilst competing against eleven other teams from eight universities. The final scores were incredibly close, with UDM’s Team 2 placing third overall!
