UDM Student Team Places Third in the 2025 NCAE Cyber Games Midwest Competition

From 11 am-7 pm on March 1st, 2025, twelve UDM students worked to score points in the NCAE Cyber Games competition. These students were organized into two Blue Teams (Cybersecurity Defenders) and given a compromised network to prepare defenses for while simultaneously being attacked by the NCAE’s Red Team of Seasoned Hackers. Throughout the 7 hours, these two teams experienced compromised services, broken configurations, and more while competing against eleven other teams from eight universities. The final scores were incredibly close, with UDM’s Team 2 placing third overall!
