The competition, open to all majors, awarded $13,500 in scholarships at this event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A record of 21 teams from four universities took part with a total of six teams winning from UDM, Oakland University and Eastern Michigan University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Taking first place was Cybersecurity &amp; Information Systems students,&nbsp;<strong>Preston Duller<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>JP Martin<\/strong>&nbsp;and<strong>&nbsp;Mark Formosa<\/strong>, Business Administration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Second-place winners were&nbsp;<strong>Aaron Hewins<\/strong>, Cybersecurity &amp; Information Systems, and&nbsp;<strong>Alexander Kalaj<\/strong>, Business Administration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Third place winner was&nbsp;<strong>Harrison Haviland-Longo<\/strong>, Cybersecurity &amp; Computer &amp; Information Systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was hosted in Detroit Mercy&#8217;s Center for Cyber Security &amp; Intelligence Studies, with Director\u00a0<strong>Anne Kohnke<\/strong>\u00a0and Department Chair\u00a0<strong>Greg Laidlaw<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-1 wp-block-gallery
