These students were organized into two Blue Teams (<em>Cybersecurity Defenders<\/em>) and given a compromised network to prepare defenses for while simultaneously being attacked by the<strong> NCAE&#8217;s<\/strong> Red Team of <em>Seasoned Hackers<\/em>. Throughout the 7 hours, these two teams experienced compromised services, broken configurations, and more while competing against eleven other teams from eight universities. The final scores were incredibly close, with UDM&#8217;s Team 2 placing third overall!<\/p>\n\n\n\nngg_shortcode_0_placeholder\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This competition is meant to provide students with <strong>Real-World<\/strong> Cybersecurity<strong> Defense<\/strong> experience.
