These students were organized into two Blue Teams (<em>Cybersecurity Defenders<\/em>) and given a compromised network to prepare defenses for while simultaneously being attacked by the<strong> NCAE&#8217;s<\/strong> Red Team of <em>Seasoned Hackers<\/em>. Throughout the 7 hours, these two teams experienced compromised services, broken configurations, and more while competing against eleven other teams from eight universities.
