I’ve been learning how to make videos this semester as I’m teaching online for the first time. I decided to make this one recently, which invites us to pay attention, in the spirit of Ignatius of Loyola, to what is happening in our interior lives, our affectivity during this “our cannonball moment.” During his convalescence at home after being hit by a cannonball, Ignatius discovered that God was present in the movements of his heart, gently leading and guiding him in new directions that would be fruitful for him and others. What is happening in your own heart these days?
