I was very saddened to hear the news today of my dear friend Fr. Sushil Sah SJ’s death in Patna, India.
His burial was this morning (see video below). He had a stroke in July, 2020.
I am waiting to learn more information from the Jesuits in India.
(Update at 9:48pm: Sushil died of Covid 19.)
We lived together for 3 years at the University of Detroit Mercy, when he was doing a doctorate in clinical psychology and I was teaching while in Jesuit formation.
He was a wise person to turn to for counsel and also just a lot of fun to be with.
He was at my side concelebrating at my first Mass.
Rest in the peace and joy of the risen Christ, dear friend!
