Welcome to the website for the Lanigan Research Group at the University of Detroit Mercy! Our research combines analytical methods with physical chemistry. One area of our research interest is examining heterogeneous photocatalytic reactions between aqueous contaminants and nanoparticles. Another area is measuring metal concentrations in different samples requiring preconcentration using cloud point extraction methods.
