Nominations are officially open for the “Commitment to Excellence Awards” in honor of exceptional contributions made by individuals within the Detroit Mercy community.
Submissions for the 2024 awards will be accepted until Friday, April 26 at midnight.
All full-time non-exempt staff and administrative-exempt employees of the University are eligible. Detroit Mercy staff, faculty, and administration are encouraged to nominate esteemed colleagues.
Award recipients will receive a certification, commemorative gift, and a monetary reward in recognition of their dedication and impact.
Nominations are based on the following criteria:
- Nominees consistently perform their work responsibilities professionally and collaboratively and give excellent service to everyone with whom they work and serve;
- Nominees promote and demonstrate the Mission of the University and the goals of their college, school or department;
- Nominees take initiative in their work, going above and beyond what is required; and
- Nominees are dedicated and accomplish their work with a positive attitude.
Recipients will be chosen by the end of April. The awards will be presented on the annual “Spotlight on Excellence Celebration” on May 15, 2024.
