Political Science Students Simulate Congressional Hearing on Education Policy

Students in Professor Felicia Grey’s Introduction to Political Science class recently had the opportunity to step into the shoes of policymakers during a simulated congressional hearing.  

The class was divided into groups to represent different political viewpoints and tasked with presenting arguments before a mock House Committee on Education and the Workforce.  

The debate centered on the Department of Education’s future, offering students a chance to experience firsthand the complexities of education policy and the legislative process.
