Dean Jocelyn Boryczka Featured on MEA TV Highlighting CHASS Milestones

Dean Jocelyn Boryczka was recently featured on Middle Eastern American Television (MEA TV) for an in-depth conversation spotlighting the College of Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences and its continued growth and evolution.

Dean Boryczka discussed the College’s recent name change, the vision behind it, and what it represents for students, faculty, and the broader Detroit Mercy community. She also reflected on the ribbon-cutting of the new Detroit Mercy Black Box Theatre, a significant milestone that expands creative and performance opportunities for students across disciplines while building community in the Liv6 area of Detroit and beyond.

The conversation also looked ahead to the College’s future, including CHASS’s upcoming 150th anniversary, highlighting the College’s long-standing commitment to the liberal arts, community engagement, and student-centered education.
