The African American Studies Program invited students, faculty, and staff to the 6-Mile Meet Up—a community gathering that highlights Detroit’s local Black-owned businesses and celebrates the connections between campus and neighborhood life. The event encourages attendees to engage with local entrepreneurs while enjoying authentic food and conversation. This meet-up took place at Whatcha Wanna Eat Food Hall, 10635 W. McNichols, Detroit. These events are open to all members of the University community. Purchases are suggested but not required.
