CHASS Welcomes Future Titans at Accepted Students Day

The College of Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences (CHASS) proudly welcomed prospective students and families during Detroit Mercy’s Accepted Students Day on the McNichols campus. With over 300 students registered, the event offered an exciting opportunity to highlight the vibrant academic programs and supportive community within CHASS.

Faculty and staff from all CHASS departments were on hand to connect with students interested in majors such as Psychology, Criminal Justice, Communication Studies, Theatre, Political Science, Cybersecurity, and more. CHASS Student Ambassadors played a key role, guiding families, sharing their experiences, and offering insight into academic life on campus.

The event began in The Fitness Center where students and families enjoyed breakfast and a welcome from University leaders. Families then made their way to Briggs, where CHASS representatives met students as they arrived and started connecting with our faculty. The energy was high as future Titans explored opportunities and imagined their future at Detroit Mercy.

Thank you to everyone who helped showcase what makes CHASS a place where students grow, lead, and thrive!
