Lambda Theta Phi Launches Second Annual Toy Drive Supporting the Academy of the Americas Cub Store

Now through December 12 | Donation Drop-Off in the CHASS Basement

Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity has launched its second annual Holiday Toy Drive in support of the Academy of the Americas Cub Store, an in-school resource that provides students with essential items, incentives, and gifts throughout the year. Running now through Thursday, December 12, the drive invites the Detroit Mercy community to donate new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages.

This initiative builds on last year’s successful partnership, which supplied the Academy’s Cub Store with toys and gifts that directly supported student participation and school engagement. For year two, Lambda Theta Phi is expanding its efforts by collecting physical donations and monetary contributions. All financial gifts will be used by the fraternity to shop for additional toys and supplies to ensure the Cub Store is fully stocked for the holiday season.

Donations can be dropped off in the basement of the BRIGGS building. Monetary contributions are also welcomed through the fraternity’s CashApp at $LambdaPsi313.
