On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, the campus community gathered in the Student Union Ballroom for the annual Spotlight on Excellence, a university-wide celebration honoring faculty, administrators, and staff for their outstanding contributions.
Among this year’s honorees were several members of the CHASS community whose work has made a lasting impact:
Angela Davis, Operations Manager, received the Staff Recognition Award for her dedication, reliability, and behind-the-scenes leadership that keeps the College running smoothly.
Professor Lee Eshelman, Department of Psychology, was awarded the Faculty Recognition Award for her excellence in teaching, mentoring, and research.
Professor Felicia Grey, Department of Political Science, was selected to receive a Jesuit Formation Summer Stipend, supporting her continued exploration of Jesuit values in higher education.
Dr. Donald DiPaolo, Leadership Minor program, was honored with the University Mission Leadership Award, recognizing his unwavering commitment to the University’s mission and values.
It was an afternoon of celebration, gratitude, and pride. We congratulate our CHASS colleagues for this well-deserved recognition and thank them for the meaningful contributions they make to the College and University.
