Dr. Erin Bell, Writing Center Director and Adjunct Instructor, has published an article in the journal Animation Practice, Process & Production (Volume 13, Issue: Animated Change: Women and Genderqueer Animators).
Titled “‘Us weirdos have to stick together:’ Wild magic, queer time, and queer spaces in Dana Terrace’s The Owl House,” the piece explores themes of queer identity, time, and space in the animated series.
