At the Honors Convocation, University of Detroit Mercy celebrates the academic and leadership achievements of Detroit Mercy students who have excelled in their coursework, extracurricular, co-curricular and service efforts in the communities they live.
The Detroit Mercy students being honored have applied the knowledge they learned in the classroom in their clinical placements, internships, co-op experiences and volunteer projects. Moreover, these academically talented and socially conscious students exemplify the traditions of our Jesuit and Mercy education.
The entire University community thanks our students’ parents, spouses, family members and friends who have supported them toward achieving their goals and aspirations. Additionally, we extend appreciation to Detroit Mercy staff and faculty for their dedication and service to our students.
The ceremony for the College of Liberal Arts & Education is off campus at Gesu Catholic Church.
