The Carney Latin American Solidarity Archive (CLASA) and Detroit Mercy are hosting the 2024 Pax Christi Michigan State Conference. Keynote Lisa Sullivan will speak on environmental justice from a pastoral, social justice and peace perspective. She will reference key elements of Pope Francis’ Laudato Si’ encyclical. Pax Christi is a group that engages in prayer, study and action so as to bring about a peaceful and just world, using skills of nonviolent conflict transformation. All are welcome to attend!
