DESCRIPTION:The Faculty Development Committee would like to invite all CLAE
  faculty and staff to its first event for Winter 2024. This event will be 
 part of a series of conversations on how faculty can support students. The
  February 22 event will be focused on how faculty can support student ment
 al health &amp\; wellness\, the March 14 event will be focused on how facu
 lty can support students when engaging in critical conversations in the cl
 assroom.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\nThe format of the events will involve moderators s
 tationed at round tables\, with small groups of faculty members rotating b
 etween tables at timed intervals. The moderators would give a very brief p
 resentation based on their expertise and lead a short discussion with each
  group that rotates to different tables. We hope that these events will in
 troduce faculty to a variety of resources and practices and spark deeper c
 uriosity about how to support our students in the spirit of cura personali
 s.\n
