College of Liberal Arts & Education Sponsors October Great Lakes Bioneers Detroit Conference

The College of Liberal Arts & Education (CLAE)was a sponsor of the the 18th annual Great Lakes Bioneers Detroit conference this past October. The theme is “Revolution form the Heart of Nature: Take Action in Detroit.” Dean Jocelyn Boryczka gave the welcome on address to approximately 300 Detroit-area middle school and high school students along with adults. CLAE faculty member Gail Presbey served as chair of the conference, after serving as co-chair the previous three years.
