Detroit Mercy Theatre Company earns three Wilde Awards

Detroit Mercy Theatre Company earns three Wilde Awards for Pride and Prejudice.

The Detroit Mercy Theatre Company won three Wilde Awards for the winter 2023 production of Pride and Prejudice by Kate Hamill, based on the novel by Jane Austen. The Wilde Awards – named in honor of 19th century playwright Oscar Wilde – honors the best productions, performances and technical work produced or presented by professional theaters across the state.

The production received:

  • Best Play (Comedy)
  •  Best Director (Play): Sarah Hawkins Rusk
  •  Best Supporting Actor (Play): Luke Adamkiewicz
