Political Science students visit 36th District Court

Detroit Mercy Political Science students stand outside of Detroit's 36th District Court.

Political Science students in Assistant Professor of Political Science Felicia Grey’s class observed a civil court and criminal proceedings first hand at 36th District Court in Detroit. The judges were especially accommodating. During intervals they stopped and asked the students if they had any questions about what transpired. The students were very interested in the process and asked questions that demonstrated critical thinking and related to class room lessons and upcoming research research papers. Such learning experiences reflect CLAE’s commitment to high impact practices.
