Political Science Students Experience Supreme Court Moot Court Simulation

Students in the Introduction to Law and the Judiciary course took part in a Supreme Court Moot Court simulation. They participated in simulated real-world legal proceedings and tackled significant constitutional issues. This hands-on exercise allowed students to step into the roles of attorneys, judges, and legal advisors, providing a dynamic, practical experience with the judicial process.

Students presented compelling arguments before a panel of “justices” as they navigated legal precedents, statutory interpretations, and constitutional questions. This engaging simulation offered students valuable insights into the intricacies of the U.S. legal system, enhancing their understanding of law and legal reasoning
