The Political Science Department kicked off the academic year with its annual Welcome Gathering, co-hosted by the Political Science Student Association, the Pre-Law Society, and She’s The First. This year’s theme, “Skeletons of the State” Trivia, brought students and faculty together for a lively afternoon of competition and community building. Dean Jocelyn Boryczka offered opening remarks, setting the tone for a fun and engaging event that highlighted the department’s collaborative spirit.
Held on October 30, 2025, the gathering featured trivia questions inspired by political history and current events, giving participants a chance to test their knowledge and win prizes. Alongside plenty of food and snacks, the event fostered connection between new and returning students while celebrating the department’s commitment to intellectual curiosity and inclusion.
