The English Department will host Triptych+1: Student Reading, a live, in-person event celebrating student writers and performers.
Taking place on Thursday, April 16 at 6:30 p.m. at Book Suey Bookstore Cooperative in Hamtramck, the event creates an inviting, community-centered space for students to share their work beyond campus. Triptych+1 offers students the opportunity to read alongside peers, build confidence as emerging writers, and support fellow students in a relaxed, encouraging environment.
Friends, family, classmates, and community members are encouraged to attend and help uplift student voices while strengthening connections between Detroit Mercy and the broader literary community.
