The CLAE faculty assembly is on Thursday, March 28 at 12:45 p.m. in the Engineering & Science building, Room 120. All CLAE faculty are urged to attend.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Among the important items on the agenda, there will be a motion to amend the shared governance constitution so that all references to CLAE will be changed to CHASS, in keeping with the college’s name change.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>The Ad Hoc Subcommittee of the Executive Committee of CLAE Shared Governance for the Revision of the CLAE\/CHASS Tenure and Promotion Guidelines will share feedback gathered from faculty and facilitate a focused discussion to continue this collaborative process.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>The slate of candidates for the shared governance executive committee will also be announced.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Faculty are invited to submit items for the agenda at least three days before the meeting to Barry Dauphin, president of the Shared Governance Executive Committee.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
