Albert will delve into Ujamaa, <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Kiswahili for \u201cunity through community,\u201d<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> the <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">anchoring political concept in Tanzania since gaining independence from British colonial rule in 1961, <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">and its resonance with Detroit Mercy\u2019s commitment to social justice, community, and service. <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Joseph Albert is visiting UDM and CHASS the week of November 11<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">th<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\"> as the College builds on a partnership with Loyola High School in Dar es Salaam begun by Dean Jocelyn Boryczka in October 2012.
