CHASS Department Chairs were joined by those from the College of Health Professions (CHP) and McCauley School of Nursing, and Engineering & Sciences<\/span> (<\/span><\/b>E&S) for a three-hour workshop on Friday, January 24, 2025, with Prof. Benjamin Myers, Chair of Communication and Media, University of Toledo.  <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

He facilitated lively and engaging discussion with the thirty-five chairs and program directors present who enjoyed the opportunity to talk across disciplines, colleges, and schools.  Prof. Myers anchored the workshop in his just-released book, <\/span>The New Department Chair: 100 Daily Reflections to Mindfully Design Your Term<\/span><\/i>\u202f(Rowman & Littlefield, 2025), which all attendees received.  This event was coordinated by the CHASS Dean\u2019s Office in collaboration with E&S and CHP.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
