This award highlights Toma\u2019s dedication to leadership and service, despite being in her first year at the university.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559738&quot;:240,&quot;335559739&quot;:240}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cI\u2019m incredibly honored to receive the Rising Star Student Leader of the Year award\u2014it\u2019s truly humbling to be recognized in this way, especially as a first-year student,\u201d Toma said. \u201cI\u2019ve truly appreciated the opportunities I\u2019ve had to grow and contribute to our campus community so far, and I\u2019m grateful that the university has seen value in the work I\u2019ve begun.
