On May 22, the Department of Psychology hosted I\/O UNSCRIPTED: Real Talk. Real Work Journeys. We Owe it to Each Other, a dynamic evening highlighting the field of Industrial\/Organizational (I\/O) Psychology through real-world experiences and alumni insight.<\/p>\n

The event featured Matt Turner, M.A., a University of Detroit Mercy alumnus and Human Resource Generalist at Dexter, as the guest speaker. With a professional background that spans global HR strategy, leadership development, and performance management, Turner brings valuable perspective on how I\/O psychology drives meaningful workplace innovation. His career includes launching learning systems, designing tools for performance, and working abroad in Germany to enhance international HR practices.<\/p>\n
