The session will trace links from the Underground Railroad to modern-day activism in Palestine. This event, part of Native American Heritage Month, features speakers who bring diverse expertise in Indigenous studies, history, and social justice. Panelists include <strong data-start=\"556\" data-end=\"571\">Seth Allard<\/strong>, PhD Candidate in Social Work at Wayne State University; <strong data-start=\"629\" data-end=\"651\">Jessica Borsellino<\/strong>, Assistant Professor of History at the University of Detroit Mercy; <strong data-start=\"720\" data-end=\"738\">Roy Finkenbine<\/strong>, Professor of History at the University of Detroit Mercy; and <strong data-start=\"801\" data-end=\"817\">George Milne<\/strong>, Associate Professor of History at Oakland University. Together, they will discuss how Indigenous peoples\u2019 unique cultures, spiritualities, and experiences have informed their investments in political struggles from the local to the global.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1062\" data-end=\"1250\"><strong data-start=\"1062\" data-end=\"1080\">Event details:<\/strong> Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 12:00\u20131:30 p.m. in the <strong data-start=\"1139\" data-end=\"1155\">Bargman Room<\/strong>, McNichols Campus Library, second floor.
