Detroit Mercy undergraduate students are invited to submit a poem to the Dudley Randall Poetry Prize competition. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Each year, the Detroit Mercy English Department<\/a> honors Dudley Randall, the late poet, publisher and University of Detroit Mercy librarian and poet-in-residence, by sponsoring a poetry competition in his name. Now in its 54<\/span>th<\/span> year, the prize continues Dudley Randall\u2019s legacy of amplifying creative voices with the Detroit Mercy community. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

The deadline for submission<\/a> is Friday, Feb. 9. First Prize is $150, second prize is $75 and third prize is $50. <\/span><\/p>\n

Detroit Mercy undergraduates are eligible to submit one poem of 55 or few lines \u2013 all topics and poetic forms are welcome. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
