Wednesday, March 25 – “Winds peak c. 23 mph about 3:00 pm, after spring rain, then a passing smile of sun,\u201d\u00a0so says Weather.com<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Weather.com<\/a> says this Wednesday is getting ready to be a classic spring day: \u00a0a system change passing through from the South, South-West \u2014 our gummy weather direction, \u00a0bringing some measurable rain and gusty winds, peaking c. 23 mph in mid afternoon. \u00a0 \u00a0The weather-wise will notice that we\u2019ve been short of rain, nothing like suffering California, but still overdue. \u00a0 Then, a little after 3:00 pm the wind changes direction, from SSW to WSW and brings in late afternoon sun and some more wind. \u00a0All this beauty waiting to be noticed while we carry along the day’s commitments: \u00a0Beauty and wonder; Beauty and sloppy puddles; \u00a0Beauty and deadlines. \u00a0We work and walk in mystery.<\/p>\n

The Work Day blog hosts poets of many faiths and some who refrain from religious faith. \u00a0Denise Levertov celebrates a creator God whose attention is not easily distracted. \u00a0In this mode, she reminds me of Tagore.\u00a0\u00a0Best read the poem out loud, with pauses.<\/p>\n
