The suddenness of it left me heartbroken, questioning so much. I miss you my friend and not a day goes by that I do not think of you! \u00a0Rest in peace dear one.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tis a fearful thing<br \/>\nto love what death can touch.<br \/>\nA fearful thing<br \/>\nto love, to hope, to dream, to be \u2013<br \/>\nto be,<br \/>\nAnd oh, to lose.<\/p>\n<p>A thing for fools, this,<br \/>\nAnd a holy thing,<br \/>\na holy thing<br \/>\nto love.<\/p>\n<p>For your life has lived in me,<br \/>\nyour laugh once lifted me,<br \/>\nyour word was gift to me.<br \/>\nTo remember this brings painful joy.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Tis a human thing, love,<br \/>\na holy thing, to love<br \/>\nwhat death has touched.<\/p>\n<p>~ Yehuda HaLevi<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Judah_Halevi\">https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Judah_Halevi<\/a><\/p>\n<p>p.s. From today\u2019s editor:<\/p>\n<p>Hi John,<\/p>\n<p>I wanted to share the poem with you that I posted in memory of Connie yesterday, on her anniversary of new life. I think it touches on the particular agony of her loss. I have thought of and think of you often in this last year. I hope you feel her all around you!<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday as I sat in my prayer space, I got up for some water to feed the Gerbera Daisies I have been nurturing in the hopes they will bloom again in summer. I have attached the picture of what took my breath away as I glanced at it.
