expect respect for words. \u00a0 Not only teachers though. \u00a0Universities call on students to listen to each other, to expect meaning from each other. \u00a0Also, \u00a0administrative assistants, \u00a0staff in the registrar\u2019s office, \u00a0nurse practitioners in the student wellness center, \u00a0campus security officers, coaches; \u00a0lots of listening. \u00a0 \u00a0On good days, each of us knows that. \u00a0And on hard days, maybe one of our peers will notice and ask how we are doing, and listen to our story.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Sr. Mary Kelly led and taught by listening, by expecting risk-taking; she noticed fellow members of the university and, in noticing, helped them to believe that she\/he has a voice worth listening to. \u00a0 She died about 6:30 this morning. \u00a0 Just as she listened to other people\u2019s voices, all over this university for years, so her voice was a source of grace all those years as well. \u00a0 We will miss her.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u00a0Today\u2019s poet, Rabindranath Tagore wrote a pocket-size book of 100 poem-prayers,\u00a0<u class=\"\">Gitanjali<\/u>. \u00a0Some people say that the Gitanjali 100 are one reason he received the Nobel Prize in Literature on December \u00a010, 1913.<\/p>\n<p>Have a blest weekend.<\/p>\n<p>john sj<\/p>\n<div class=\"\"><b class=\"\"><span style=\"color: #333333;font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif;font-size: medium\">Today\u2019s post: \u00a0&#8211;
