\nStarting around 1956 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. began to call the world to create the \u201cBeloved Community.\u201d \u00a0\u00a0\u201cI am not talking about some emotional bosh when I talk about love . . . you love those who don\u2019t love you . . .\u00a0 because God loves. \u00a0 This year we are posting one \u201cBeloved Community\u201d text around campus each week during Black History Monday and hosting conversations \u00a0about what\u00a0 \u201cBeloved Community\u201d might \u00a0mean at UDM. \u00a0For more information, see: http:\/\/www.udmercy.edu\/news_events\/news\/by-year\/2014\/files\/01-14-MLK.htm<\/a><\/p>\n
