Here are some opportunities to serve. There is no experience required for any of these volunteer positions.<\/p>\n

All pre-health career interests are welcome to serve our nation’s veterans at the Detroit VA Hospital. Plan @ 5 hours a week for any semester. Contact them at vhadetVAVS@va<\/span>.gov<\/a>\u00a0to start the volunteer registration process.<\/p>\n

Volunteering at Children’s Hospital of Michigan is a standard for those who wish to be clinicians for youth. Contact Maureen Stys, Manager, Child Life, Spiritual Care, Volunteer Services mstys@dmc.org<\/p>\n

Just use your zip code to find free clinics to volunteer all over the United States. You may be trained to be a volunteer medical assistant, dental assistant, Pharmacist Assistant and more. This would be clinical experience and shadowing the volunteer clinicians at the clinics.<\/p>\n
