(See image on right.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hsiao-Lan Hu<\/strong>, Professor of Religious Studies, published \u201cNetworking as Equals? Engaged Buddhists\u2019 Egalitarian Ideals and Hierarchical Habits\u201d in <em>Multi-Religious Perspectives on a Global Ethic: In Search of a Common Morality<\/em> (Routledge, 2021). Ze has been appointed to the Status of Women in the Profession Committee of the American Academy of Religion, invited to serve on the editorial board of <em>Women&#8217;s Studies Quarterly<\/em>, and elected Vice President of S\u0101kyadhit\u0101: International Association of Buddhist Women, the largest organization of Buddhist women in the world.
