College debuts new Student Ambassador Program

Launching in Winter 2024, a select group of students will represent the College of Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences through a new program designed to connect prospective students to the University community. Focused on majors in the humanities, arts and social sciences, the initiative will employ current  students to facilitate communication and engagement between the College and prospective students. Ambassadors will share their experiences offer first-hand insights into the College and University. They will host students at events,m,eet them on tours, create social media posts and much more to boost our recruitment efforts.

“The program underscores the College’s commitment to fostering a supportive community and building connections between current and prospective students,” said Dean Jocelyn Boryczka. “We look forward to observing its impact on shaping the College of Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences’ narrative.”

The program aligns with the belief that student stories offer valuable perspectives on the opportunities within the College. These ambassadors will contribute to a clearer understanding of academic, cultural and extracurricular experiences, enhancing decision-making for potential students.

The new student ambassadors will be announced in January 2024.
