Educational Programming
When you attend the AAMC Virtual Medical School Fair on Feb. 20, you can visit representatives of over 70 medical schools between 11 AM and 8 PM ET. Additionally, we invite you to (virtually) attend the following free, live informational sessions designed for aspiring medical students.

11:30-12:30 p.m. ET: Tips and Tools for Financing your Application and Career in Medicine
This session will discuss how to best prepare for the cost of applying to medical school and provide you with the information and resources to understand what you need to know to pay for medical school. During this session, you will hear from a pre-health advisor, as well as an education debt management specialist that will provide tips and tools to help prepare you for your financial journey, and answer questions about the expenses that you will navigate through applying and attending medical school.
1-2 p.m. ET: New Medical Schools: Myths & Tips
In this session, newly accredited medical schools will share their experiences in admitting a first year class and address some of the myths, benefits, and tips of attending a new medical school. |

In this panel session, three pre-health advisors will share information about how they advise students to spend their glide years and provide guidance to students approaching this time.
4:00 – 5:00 p.m. ET: The Application Process and Resources for Applicants & Premeds
In this session, AAMC staff will share some of the tools, resources, and information the AAMC maintains to help you prepare for the medical school application process. This includes how to get relevant experience, what you need to know about the MCAT exam and AMCAS application, and where to find advice from current medical students.
