The University of Detroit Mercy has partnered with the Princeton Review to bring both Pre-Dentistry Titans and Pre-Medical Titans this Live Online test prep experience. Titans are too valued to simply persevere through years of academic preparation for graduate programs in the health professions and not also have resources for the critical DAT & MCAT admissions exams.
SCIE 2400 Pre-Healthcare Professional Development Strategies is a 1 credit course that has two components.
- Monday – Thursday afternoons is the live online DAT or MCAT test prep from an industry leader. titans who are local, across the county and around the world can engage with Princeton Review test prep experts. The Review online dashboard has every resource that a Titan would need to earn an excellent score.
- Application coaching and interview prep support is provided for Titans by Pre-Health Advisor, Carmen Gamlin a Licensed Career Counselor with decades of experience in STEM career launching.
Dear pre-dent/pre-med Titan,
Any resource that only provides pre-recorded videos and does not have a method to engage the instructors of those videos is not ideal. Titans are engaged with their faculty members in every department. There is a huge missing component to test prep if there is no live online feature.
- If you were admitted to University Detroit Mercy “TEST Optional”
- If you are not proud of your SAT / ACT scores
- If you are a transfer student Titan or any Titan that never took a national exam
- If your acceptance to an accelerated program or EAP requires minimum DAT or MCAT scores
- If you were thinking that you could just piece together secondhand resources to come up with a study plan
Then you really should plan on taking the Live online DAT prep course or the Live online MCAT prep course this summer, SCIE 2400.
Any current Titan or alum can schedule a meeting to discuss their test prep options using https://calendly.com/prehealthadvisor.
