This application is very different from the traditional timeline for MD & DO medical school applications.
- Make sure that you are eligible for this MSUCHM EAP.
- It has a very compressed timeline.
- The medical school primary application and secondary application is done at the same time. The application for the students this cycle is due on January 31st.
- Letters of Recommendation are sent directly to Carmen Gamlin at prehealth@udmercy.edu on letterhead and signed by Feb 9th.
- The interview would be in February if selected to interview.
- A response yes or no for acceptance to Michigan State University College of Human Medicine Early Assurance Program would be in March pending the June MCAT with a minimum score of 500 or greater.
- University of Detroit Mercy has SCIE 2400 that intensely meets after finals to prepare any Titan who has taken the pre-requisites for the MCAT. It also works with this compressed timeline for the MSUCHM EAP.
