Titans Make Individualized Pre-Health Plans

Starting freshmen year, Titans can meet to make their Individualized Pre-Health Plans. This would include all areas needed on their journey to competitively applying to graduate schools in the health professions:

  1. Academic and extra curricular requirements
  2. Opportunities to shadow clinicians
  3. Community service that is tailored to your needs / areas of interests
  4. Planning for summer pre-health programs and activities
  5. Testing resources including Detroit Mercy’s free Kaplan All Access test prep
  6. Strategies in securing letters of recommendations &/or University of Detroit Mercy Committee Letter Process
  7. Making informed choices in specialized programs and/or graduate program selection
  8. Support in writing applications, interviewing etc.

During academic semesters, Titans meet periodically to revise their plans to reflect their changing skill sets and needs. University of Detroit Mercy Freshmen through alumni are welcome to schedule a time to make an Individualized Pre-Health Plan. Prospective students engage University Admissions.
