Our school offers a Profile for Success program for college juniors, seniors and recent grads to help prepare students from disadvantaged and underrepresented backgrounds be successful in their application to a Dental School.  The program is free to all participants. The deadline to submit an application to Profiles for Success is March 1st.

The OHS PhD Program is hosting a recruiting conference on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 and I encourage anyone interested in learning more about Michigan, admission criteria, application hints and more to attend.  Attendees will also meet with the program director, faculty, and current students while getting a snapshot of the research conducted at the School of Dentistry.  Financial support can be provided to potential applicants. Those who would like more information, please fill out the OHS Program Info Form
Summer Research opportunities at the University of Michigan are provided at various schools and colleges on campus.  Rackham Graduate School runs SROP which is a program that connects students with research across campus and is designed for outstanding students who are underrepresented in their field of study (deadline to apply is January 15, 2020).  Also the Medical School on campus has provided a great list of all the opportunities on campus – check out their information – Undergrad Summer Research.
