Detroit renames street for alumnus Ike McKinnon

Detroit Mercy’s footprint on the community just got a little bigger as the city of Detroit named a street after our alumnus, Isaiah “Ike” McKinnon ’75, ’78.

The downtown street honors McKinnon, an associate professor at Detroit Mercy, who is also a former Detroit Police chief and served as deputy mayor.
