The New York Times Business section has a feature called Vocations in which, according to the paper, “people from all walks of life talk about their jobs.”
Last week, one of those people was Jay Browder ’05 who operates a machine at Alphapointe in Kansas City, Mo. Alphapointe is a nonprofit that creates employment for people who are blind. Browder, 43, lost his sight in an accidental shooting when he was 19. That hasn’t kept him down, and the article, click on the link below, portrays a man with a good sense of humor and a positive outlook on life. We thought he’s someone you’d like to meet.
