“What I love about Thanksgiving is that it’s purely about getting together with friends or family and enjoying food. It’s really for everybody, and it doesn’t matter where you’re from.”
— Swiss Chef Daniel Humm

Our international students got a taste of American tradition Wednesday when the International Services Office, the Student Life Office and University Ministry hosted a Thanksgiving meal for them Wednesday, Nov. 21.

About 100 people — students, faculty and staff — gathered to express thanks for their blessings and eat turkey, ham, stuffing, greens and green beans. Rounding out the meal were pecan, sweet potato and pumpkin pies.

A raffle and trivia questions added to the festive atmosphere. See more pictures here.

Here’s hoping you can be with your loved ones on Thanksgiving, and that you have much to be thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving!
